Edit: Gallery Look

Read the latest Gallery Date here

This would be my ideal late summer outfit for a visit to the gallery. Planning an outfit to a gallery may seem excessive but it is actually important to make the right choices when it comes to deciding what to wear on a visit.

For me I always consider comfort, taking into consideration how much walking I may do, the weather that day and of then of course (what may often be overlooked) the uncertainty of the climate inside the gallery!

Initially what comes to mind is what bottoms to wear, and immediately trousers present themselves to be the most practical choice. These wide legged joggers by Cos are perfect for a casual and relaxed day as they are made from a super comfy fabric, and their elasticated waist makes them even better. Paired with this tank by Re/Done also allows for the potentially changeable conditions.

For shoes I would choose either sandals or loafers. These flip-flops by The Row would be great for a sunny day, and their platform sole makes them ideal for lots of walking. If there is potential for rain, I’d go for my loafers by GH Bass as they will provide all day comfort and protect from the weather.

As for jewellery I am never not wearing my Tiffany City hardware bracelet and necklace, so they are fundamental to every outfit I wear. I would also wear my Prada Re-Edition 2000 shoulder bag which is the perfect size to fit all my essentials, and of course a map of the gallery and any other leaflets I may pick up!
