Nylane Mammadova is based in New York. Here, she shares the exhibitions she saw recently.
Can you
talk about the most recent exhibition you went to?
The most recent exhibition I have seen was 'The Distillation of Color' by Agnes Martin at Pace Gallery. I have been a huge fan of hers since I remember first seeing her work. Her work with color and precision of lines in this particular curation is a meditative act both in its nature and to look at as well.

The
permanent collection at the Noguchi Museum is a compilation of the best to see
in the city(New York). And most probably Lucio Fontana: On the Threshold at Met
Breuer, 2019 was definitely mesmerizing with its "Spatial Environment in
Red Light" (1967) which you came out of with a completely different
mindset realizing the power of the artist impacting and engaging with you via
just his pure oeuvre.
What
exhibition are you planning to see next?
I am eager to see Willem de Kooning drawings soon at Matthew Marks Gallery.
